That is unfortunate, Digna. My sister's voice took a long time to return to normal.

I am a surviving thryroid cancer patient and was glad to say that I got the best care and surgeon. It was a very scary experience no matter what they say that it is the most curable cancer. It is still cancer and what bothers me most out of the experience was the complication after the surgery. I had lost my voice and wont be able to eat solid for a month due to some complication on my voce box.

Yeah, my sister's was actually much further along than they thought. The doctor that she had was a wonderful doctor though, and he managed to get everything out of her. She's recovering well from the surgery and has a new lease on life! You're not alone, Tara!

hey.
my sister just told me today she has tyroid cancer too.
I was very upset, I couldn't stop crying.
Whether this is a very curable cancer or not, its still cancer, I'm glad to know there are people out there who know the situation.
