Learn CPR by SMS (Text Messaging) with Red Cross?

The Australian Red Cross is offering a way to download CPR instructions to your mobile phone.  The download costs $3, and shows animated instructions on how to deliver CPR within seconds.

The Daily Telegraph and the Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia have been campaigning for anyone that owns a pool to learn CPR.  There have been just over 5000 downloads of the instructions so far.  The goal is to have the instructions downloaded to one in every five phones throughout Australia.

To download the animation to your mobile visit www.redcross.org.au and follow the prompts to the first aid page or send an SMS to 1995 1515.

One has to wonder, what makes this any different from learning CPR online (sans Blended Course)?
